Founded in 1972 the company has over the past 35 years developed to the present day status.
The
move to the present day premises at Gilwilly Industrial
Estate, Penrith ensures that a wider range of services
are now available, due to the gradual expansion programme
of the company, which has been implemented to meet
client demand.
With
over 500 items of plant and machinery to cover every
aspect of hire, the Company can maintain the reputable
service it has always offered to customers, both large
and small.
Whilst
plant hire remains the core business of the Company
, the contracting division offers a competitive service
to clients, covering a wide variety of operations
and services including general civil engineering (in
both the Main Contract and Sub-Contract markets),
earthworks, drainage, crushing and screening of materials,
Public Utilities, water mains laying, concrete works,
land restoration and agricultural re-development to
name a few.
The company has moved forward to meet the ever increasing demands within the industry by continuing to meet our training programme forcasts for all operatives and labour staff and have gained and maintained the following accreditations:
